Place the remaining cards in the centre of the table as the draw pile.
Next to the draw pile will be the main pile where people will play their cards. There will be no cards in this pile to start with.
The person on the left of the dealer starts.
Playing the game
Take it in turns placing one of your cards on the pile in the middle of the table. As you place a card you add the value of your card to the pile and say the total out loud. Eg: There is a 3 and a 6 already in the pile and you place a 4. You would say 13.
If the pile's total value is under 21, you add to the pile's total value. If the pile's total is over 21, each card you play works as a subtract, taking away from the value of the pile until the pile equals 21.
Once you play a card, draw a card from the draw pile making sure you always have 3 cards.
Skip and reverse cards have no value.
A skip card skips the next player's turn.
The reverse card changes the direction of play. Eg: clockwise to anti-clockwise.
The bomb card resets the value of the pile to 0.
If the card you play on the pile makes the pile equal 21, you are to take all the cards from the pile and stack them in front of you to be counted at the end of the game. Since you played a card your turn is up and play continues with the next player.
Winning the game
Continue playing the game until all cards in the draw pile and all player's hands have been used up.
Once all cards have been used, count the cards you have won in the pile in front of you.
The person with the most cards wins.
Playing a longer game
You can play a longer game by combining multiple decks together.
